KT Freetel: In Talks To Sell Apple's iPhone In S Korea

SEOUL -(Dow Jones)- KT Freetel Ltd. (032390.KQ), South Korea's second-largest mobile service provider by sales, said Friday it is in talks with Apple Inc. ( AAPL) to get the rights to distribute the iPhone in South Korea.
KT Freetel is also in distribution talks with other handset makers, including Nokia Corp., Motorola Inc. and Sony Ericsson, a company spokesman told Dow Jones Newswires.
"We're in talks with several foreign handset manufacturers to purchase third- generation mobile phones," he said.
